Sue W.  - Manager

Sue W. is our store manager at our GR South location. Sue has been with Village Bike & Fitness for just over four years, filling various rolls in sales including seasonal sales. Sue was promoted to manager of the GR South store in 2019 due to her work ethic, cheerful demeanor and focus on exceptional customer service. Sue grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and moved to West Michigan’s lakeshore when she was 10. She has also lived in Colorado and Wisconsin, which is why her ideal day on a bike would be either sunny, 65, no wind, or 25, 3 feet of snow and still snowing. Sue attended Central Michigan University (Fire Up, Chips!) and received a BFA and MA in Broadcast and Cinematic Arts. Sue couldn't (or wouldn't) tell what her favorite bike is (she has five and one in progress) but her dream bike would be a Bearclaw Towmak Titanium Drop Bar Fat Bike. When not overseeing store operations Sue can be found in her garden, snowshoeing or playing with her dog. She enjoys sushi and craft beer and her favorite trail to ride is Merrill either in the afternoon or early evening. Sue cites the sense of professionalism, history and the company's customers and co-workers as her favorite things about working for Village Bike & Fitness.
