Mike S. - Store Manager

The inimitable Mike S. - store manager at our Cascade store, in his own inimitable style: I got into mountain biking when I met my now wife. We used to go at least twice a week. Then I met Jim Vaughn, kind of a legend at Village. He is who hired me. I had done sales most of my life to this point, but selling bikes, and talking to cool people who were loving buying as much as I loved selling, that was it! I love seeing people walk out of the store happy! I have been with Village for 19 years. More than any job I have ever had. There’s that. I am trying to work my way back onto the mountain bike. Dream whip? Turbo Vado with trailer to haul fishing equipment. Favorite movies: Airplane, True Romance, anything Tarantino. Music: Grateful Dead Rolling Stones, Beatles.
