GR North store manager Denise T. Has been with Village for 12 years; this is her third as store manager at North. Previously Denise held the position at the Jenison store. Originally from the west coast (Los Angeles), Denise and her family moved to the midwest when she was two. An avid “roadie”, Denise can be found more often than not on her Liv Avail Advanced Pro 1, although she boasts an impressive stable of bikes including a Specialized Turbo Vado 6.0, Specialized Ariel Comp, and a Specialized Fatboy Expert for snowy days. Denise is fond of wildlife; just not when cycling. “I have a checkered past with wildlife- I have run over a fish, crashed into a turkey, and ended 2 chipmunks. I am not proud!” When asked what her ideal day on a bike would be Denise was quick to answer: “Sunny miles (around Torch Lake) with great food (hamburgers and pizza-NOT at the same time!) and my family!” Her favorite thing about working for Village: “I work with awesome people who love bikes and want to get more people out riding. I also love getting customers on bikes.
